Soccer's Match At Tulsa Will Resume Friday

TULSA, Oklahoma — Due to lightning and unplayable field conditions, the UNT soccer team's Thursday night match at Tulsa was paused in the 35th minute with the Mean Green leading the Golden Hurricane 2-0 and eventually postponed after an hour and 32-minute delay. The match will resume from exactly where it left off at 11 a.m. CT on Friday from the Hurricane Soccer Stadium.
North Texas opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a goal by freshman Claire Niedermeier and then took a two-goal lead in the 23rd minute with a goal by sophomore Mia Bernard.
