UNT Set to Host Tulsa on Sunday

DENTON - The UNT soccer team will be back home on Sunday to host Tulsa as the Mean Green look to get back in the column and pick up points in the American standings. The teams are set for a 1 p.m. kickoff at the Soccer and Track & Field Stadium, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
The Mean Green (5-9-1, 1-4-0) are coming off a road loss at No. 8 Memphis on Thursday night despite opening the game's scoring in the 14th minute with a Claire Niedermeier goal. Tulsa (7-4-4, 2-2-2) also played on Thursday night, scoring a 1-0 win over UAB. The Mean Green currently have the reigning American Goalkeeper of the Week (Alina Arneth), Offensive Player of the Week (Mia Bernard) and Freshman of the Week (Lillian Vandiver).
UNT is 5-1-1 all-time against Tulsa, and haven't lost to the Golden Hurricane since the teams' first meeting in 1995. The one draw came in the last meeting in Denton in 2023.
