DENTON - The UNT swimming and diving program will host its first home meet of the season on Saturday, as the Mean Green welcome Tulane to town for a dual meet between American foes.
The diving portion of the meet will begin at 10 a.m., at the PEB Natatorium, while swimming will start at 11 a.m., at the Pohl Recreation Center.
In their first competition of the season earlier this month, the Mean Green defeated Oklahoma Christian and Incarnate Word, while falling to host SMU, and UNT had several standout performances.
"It's exciting to host our first home meet of the season this Saturday," head coach Brittany Roth said. "We've been able to progress in training over these last few weeks, and the team is excited to get back to competing this week. I'm looking forward to seeing what our team can do in our home facility, against a strong team in Tulane.
"I'm really excited to see how the divers show up this weekend after a strong first showing at SMU earlier this month," associate head coach/diving coach Stephanie O'Callaghan added. "They've been working really hard. It's always great when we get to perform at home in front of family, friends and UNT fans."
