Volleyball Set for American Conference Championship

IRVING, Texas – UNT volleyball earned the No. 4 seed at the American Conference Championship held at the University of South Florida campus inside The Corral in Tampa, Fla.
The Mean Green (21-8, 11-5) will meet Wichita State (18-10, 10-6) in the first round of the league's single-elimination tournament on Friday at 12:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
North Texas split the weekend with a four-set win over Tulane on Friday and four-set loss to regular season American Conference champions Rice on Sunday.
The Mean Green fell to Rice 3-1 (18-25, 25-22, 17-25, 19-25) as the No. 7 seed after winning the final two home matches to qualify for the conference tournament last season.
