Softball Alters Weekend Series Versus Charlotte

The Mean Green open AAC schedule with doubleheader Friday at 4 p.m.
DENTON, Texas – Due to inclement weather in Saturday's forecast, UNT softball will meet Charlotte for a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 4 p.m. before closing the series at noon on Sunday.
Patrons with paid tickets to Saturday's contest will be contacted directly by the UNT Athletics Ticket Office. Friday ticket holders will be able to attend both games of the doubleheader.
North Texas (16-5) will open American Athletic Conference play against reigning league champions Charlotte (11-11) after posting its second-best 21 game record in program history. The Mean Green rank No. 45 in NCAA RPI rating while the 49ers check in at No. 58 as they make their first visit to Lovelace Stadium since 2023.
For the duration of the 2025 season, fans are encouraged to utilize Walt Parker Road as the primary route to access parking near Lovelace Stadium as South Bonnie Brae Street will be closed at Airport Road.
