Tennis Travels to California for Two Matches

North Texas faces Fresno State and CSUN on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
DENTON — The UNT women's tennis team travels to Los Angeles, Cali. Monday and Tuesday to face No. 66 Fresno State and CSUN.
North Texas (6-6) is coming off a 4-0 win versus UT Arlington on March 5.
The Mean Green kept doubles momentum in the match versus the Mavericks, winning the point for the second consecutive match.
The pairing of Stanislava Shulzhenko and Stadfany Nformi, who are 2-0 on the season as a pair, clinched the point for UNT against UTA.
Lou Chalard continued her momentum in singles play this season, picking up her team-leading ninth win at line four to improve to 9-3 on the season.
The Bulldogs (6-4) come into the matchup nationally ranked at 66, but have dropped their last two matches.
Sofia Pizzoni leads Fresno State with a 7-1 singles record, with a majority of her wins coming at line two.
The Matadors (5-5) host both matches and enter the week with a three-match win streak.
First serve for North Texas' match with Fresno State is set for 1 p.m. CT Monday, March 10 and the team's match with CSUN will start at 4 p.m. CT Tuesday, March 11.
