
Game Times and TV Schedule Announced for Six Football Games this Fall

Mean Green chosen for four games on national television
DENTON, Texas – The UNT football program has times set for six games in the 2025 season, including four contests on national television.
The Mean Green will kick off the season on Saturday, August 30, at 7:00 PM CT against Lamar at DATCU Stadium. The home opener will be broadcast on ESPN+.
UNT will then travel to Kalamazoo, Michigan, on Saturday, September 6, to take on Western Michigan at 2:30 PM CT on ESPN+.
The Mean Green will then be at home against Washington State on Saturday, September 13 at 2:30 PM CT on ESPNU.
In week four, North Texas will travel to West Point, N.Y., to face off against Army at 11:00 AM CT on CBS Sports Network.
The Mean Green will also play in a pair of Friday night contests on ESPN2 during American Athletic Conference play.
UNT will face off with USF at DATCU Stadium on Friday, October 10, versus USF at 6:30 PM and will travel to North Carolina to take on Charlotte on Friday, October 24 at 6:00 PM.
The American Athletic Conference Football Championship Game will air on ABC on Friday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. ET. It will be the 11th consecutive season that The American Championship will be televised on ABC.
Kickoff times and television designations for the remainder of the regular season contests will fall under the customary 12-day and six-day selection processes. All dates announced today are subject to change.
Season tickets for the 2025 season remain on sale. Season ticket holders receive additional benefits including guaranteed seat locations when hosting The American Championship Game along with VIP presale opportunities for away games, bowl games and other events hosted at the stadium.
