Soccer Returns Home to Face Charlotte

DENTON - The UNT soccer team will return home on Thursday to host American foe Charlotte in the Mean Green's first home match since a thrilling 2-1 win over Abilene Christian back on Sept. 4. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Mean Green (4-6-1, 0-1-0) are coming off a tough 1-0 loss to UTSA on Sunday to open American play, as the Roadrunners netted the deciding goal in the 82nd minute.
UNT is 7-2-2 all-time against the 49ers (4-4-0, 0-1-0) and is 4-1-0 all-time against them in Denton.
UNT will be celebrating Youth Night with a face painter on hand, a mini soccer ball giveaway for kids and $2 popcorn.
