Soccer Hosting Abilene Christian Thursday

DENTON - The UNT soccer team will return home following a narrow loss at No. 20 Oklahoma to host Abilene Christian on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
The Mean Green (3-3-0) are coming off a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the 20th-ranked Sooners in which they had chances in the closing minutes to pull even, and a 4-0 home win over McNeese a week ago that saw junior goalkeeper Alina Arneth earn a clean sheet in her first career start. Arneth was named American Goalkeeper of the Week on Monday.
The Wildcats come to Denton with an identical 3-3-0 record, including a 1-0 win over UNT's American foe Tulsa. With the exception of a 2-0 loss to Oral Roberts, all of ACU's matches have ended with a 1-0 result - wins or losses.
UNT holds a 6-0-1 all-time series advantage against the Wildcats with the one draw coming last season in Abilene. UNT is 3-0 all-time against the Wildcats in Denton.
