Zach Del Bello was hired as the staff photographer for UNT athletics in August of 2022.
Del Bello photographs, edits and oversees all photography involved in UNT athletics. He also manages a staff of UNT student photographers.
No stranger to the Mean Green community, Del Bello has been on campus since 2018, spending 2018-22 as an undergrad for North Texas.
Del Bello was quickly hired on as a full-time member of the UNT athletics staff shortly after graduation.Â
In his four years as a student, Del Bello quickly ascended as one of the top photographers on campus and has been shooting UNT athletic events since 2020. He spent his first two years in Denton as a member of the UNT Basketball Pep Band and was also a member of the award winning Green Brigade.
He also has an impressive list of events and teams he has worked with throughout his career that includes the 2022 Final Four, the 2023 She Believes Cup, FC Dallas and the Frisco Roughriders.
A native of Friendswood, Texas, Del Bello graduated from Friendswood High School in 2018 and received his degree from UNT in 2022.Â
