Della began at North Texas in July of 2016. He serves as the Athletics Communications contact for the Mean Green men's basketball and women's soccer programs. He manages the internal and external publicity and media relations for each sport, while also maintaining historical records. Della has also served as the Mean Green women's basketball athletic communications contact from 2016-18. From 2015-16 Della worked in the athletics communications department at Cal where he assisted with the publicity of the nationally ranked Golden Bears football team as well as baseball and gymnastics. From 2014-15 Della worked as a sports information director at DIII Occidental College in Los Angeles. Della graduated from the University of Arizona in 2014 and was born and raised in California.
