Softball Hosts No. 9 Baylor Tonight

The Mean Green went 0-3 against Baylor last year.
The Mean Green lost four games to conference opponent Louisiana-Lafayette last weekend.
Mean Green also lost mercy rule games of 12-1 and 8-0. NT gave up the big hits in the two five inning losses, including two doubles and seven home runs.
Senior Stephanie Cranmer had her hitting streak halted at seven. Cranmer led the offense this past week against UL Lafayette, batting .444 with four hits, including one double. She is batting .414 in conference-games only and has moved her overall batting average up above .300 to .317.
Freshman Kristina Fowler started all four games on the mound against No. 14 Louisiana- Lafayette. Her most impressive outing came in the first game, allowing only one run on four
hits in six innings.
Freshman Taylor Johnston earned her second start of the season on Sunday at the designated player position. In the second game on Saturday,
hitting opportunity.
