Mean Green earn multiple first-team selections for fourth consecutive season, eighth overall
IRVING, Texas – UNT softball players Madison Conley and Elizabeth Moffitt were both chosen as first team All-American Conference selections, the league announced Tuesday.
For the second time in her career, Conley was awarded first team all-conference honors after she became the first player in UNT history to be named a unanimous selection last season. She is only the fifth player in program history to earn first team all-conference selections in back-to-back seasons and first since Kailey Gamble in 2023.
Conley set career-best marks in 11 offensive categories this season as she enters the American Conference Championship tournament with 16 home runs, 44 RBI and an .801 slugging percentage. She currently holds top 10 rankings for eight single-season program records, including batting average, home runs and RBI.
Moffitt collected her first all-conference nod of her career after she was named an NFCA Second Team All-Central winner in 2025. She became the first Mean Green catcher in program history to earn a first team all-conference distinction and only third backstop to be honored as an all-conference selection as she joined Kalei Christensen (2023) and Ashlyn Walker (2021).
This season, Moffitt bested career-high marks in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, hits, home runs and total bases while she has tallied 12 caught stealing by behind the plate.
The Mean Green enter the 2026 American Conference Championship as the No. 6 seed and will meet the winner between No. 7 UTSA and No. 10 Memphis on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT from Max R. Joyner Family Stadium in Greenville, N.C.
