Johnny Jones Quotes
"This was a good win for us. We wanted to get off to a good start in conference play and getting a win over ULM is big. The Warhawks are battle tested having faced the likes of Alabama, LSU and Oklahoma on the road this year. We knew they would present a challenge for us. They are an excellent three point shooting team and we wanted to make a conscious effort to close out on their shooters and make them drive the basketball."
On the play of the post players
"We got excellent play from our post players. George (Odufuwa) and Eric (Trameil) combined to shoot 11 for 16 from the field. Eric was one of the better scoring post players in the league last year and he is starting to get back in the rhythm that he was in last year. Odufuwa has been solid all year. If we can keep those guys going that will be a plus for us in conference play."
On Josh White and Tristan Thompson
"Tristan hadn't shot the ball as well this year as he did last year. He showed today however that he is a game conference player scoring a season high 20 points. Josh ran the show for us in the first half and didn't have very many shot attempts. We were able to get him some looks in the second half and he was able to knock down of couple of three pointers which opened up things for our post players.
