UNT, SMU PLAY SCORELESS HALF BEFORE CANCELLATION

DENTON - The Mean Green soccer team wrapped up its exhibition schedule on Sunday night at the Mean Green Soccer Complex with a scoreless half of play against SMU before rains came and the second half was canceled.
The half the teams played was fairly uneventful, as SMU outshot the Mean Green 5-3 and had three shots on goal to UNT's two. Redshirt freshman goal keeper Kelsey Brann had three saves for UNT.
UNT will begin its regular season on Friday back at the Mean Green Soccer Complex with a 7 p.m. kickoff against Incarnate Word. On Sunday, the Mean Green will host Alabama at 1 p.m.
