Stepping in for Bradley
The Mean Green found ways to make up for the absence of Preseason All-Conference selection Terriell Bradley for three contests this season as several players are made up the difference while she recovered from injury. Most noticeably, Charlene Shepherd posted 11 points and 6.3 rebounds, a big improvement over 4.9 points and 3.3 rebounds while playing alongside Bradley. Deja Terrell came onto the scene and put up 9.3 points and 3.7 boards, whereas before she was tallying 2.2 and 2.6, respectively. Velma Mitchell went from 3.8 points to 8.7, including a career-high 14 against UTSA Jan. 12.
Mitchell notches 50 career wins

Mims taking care of the ball
