Ulenaers Three Back Heading To Final Round

LAFAYETTE, Louisiana – The North Texas men's golf team saw two players finish in the top 20 with one round remaining at the 34th annual Louisiana Classics as the team sits right in the thick of the leaderboard after 36 holes on Monday.
The Mean Green are tied for ninth at Oakbourne Country Club with host Louisiana at 23-over par. UNT was led by redshirt sophomore Kristof Ulenaers, who is 1-over after shooting 73-72 and is tied for seventh after the first two rounds with the co-leaders at 2-under par. Ulenaers had three birdies in each of the two rounds Monday. Senior Jordan Sanders is 4-over par and tied for 19th place. Sophomore Viktor Forslund is tied for 31st at 6-over par.
The Mean Green will begin Round 3 from at 8 a.m., Tuesday with a shotgun start and will be paired with Oral Roberts and Sam Houston State.
