Last meeting
DENTON (Jan. 10, 2019) - North Texas women's basketball head coach Jalie Mitchell became the fastest coach in program history to record 50 career wins as the Mean Green downed UTEP, 70-51, to record the first ever 3-0 start in Conference USA play and push their win streak to six games, a feat the program has not accomplished since Mitchell was a player 17 seasons ago 2002.
The Mean Green (10-5, 3-0 C-USA) never trailed the Miners (4-11, 1-1 C-USA) en route to Mitchell's 50thvictory. C-USA Tourney shaping up

The top 12 teams qualify for C-USA's single-elimination tournament with the top four teams as seeded by regular season standings receiving a bye. The winner will gain the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
Conference highs

The 25-point triumph versus FIU Feb. 16 was the largest Mean Green margin of victory in C-USA play this year, and the 17 assists were the most distributed. The team also matched their high in steals with nine and rebounding margin of 13.
Sharing the scoring wealth
