Lampkin Selected As Freshman Of The Week

DALLAS – Tommisha Lampkin of North Texas was voted as the Conference USA Freshman of the Week announced by the league office Monday.
Lampkin provided an effective inside presence for North Texas in the two wins at UAB with averages of eight points and four rebounds. In Friday's game with 2:34 remaining, the freshman forward from Mansfield earned a trip to the line, grabbed her own miss and scored a decisive layup for a 71-63 Mean Green lead. Lampkin was nearly perfect from the field in both contests and earned five trips to the line along with a block.
