Softball at Texas Postponed Due to Weather

DENTON – The North Texas softball game at Texas scheduled for Wednesday, February 17 has been postponed due to winter weather conditions and forecasts within the Austin area this week.

This postponement comes after a historic winter blast swept through the state Sunday into Monday. The Mean Green decided to forgo their Sunday matchups in the Lion Classic after going 1-1 to open the season in order to travel back to Denton safely.

The two programs are working to find an alternate date later in the season to reschedule the matchup.
