North Texas will finish out a 10-game road trip with five games at the Wichita State Shocker Softball Tournament Thursday through Saturday. The tournament was originally scheduled to be played Friday through Sunday, but weather threats in the Wichita area moved the tournament up a day. The Mean Green will square of with Wichita State and Omaha twice and Missouri State once, this will be at least the second time that the Mean Green have played both the Shockers and Bears in the last two weeks.Â

• The Mean Green enter the weekend having won seven of their last 10 matchups.
• North Texas and Omaha are meeting for just the third and fourth time in program history while they are meeting with Wichita State and Missouri State for at least the second time in as many weeks.
• Hope Trautwein became just the second player in program history to reach 500 career strikeouts after she struck out the side in the 7th against Stephen F. Austin on 2/27.
• Janie Worthington set a North Texas single game freshman record with 17 strikeouts in a complete-game shutout of Incarnate Word on 2/27, during the outing she also set the program record for most strikeouts without issuing a walk after issuing zero walks.

• Maia Wark had an eight-game on-base and hit streak snapped last weekend.Â
North Texas vs. Omaha
• The Mean Green and Mavericks are meeting for the third all-time matchup, the teams have each one a matchup in the two previous meetings.
• North Texas' win over Omaha came in 2016 in Tuscon, Arizona.
North Texas vs. Missouri State
• The Mean Green and Bears are meeting for the eight time with Missouri State holding a 4-3 series advantage.
• North Texas is on a three-game win streak against the Bears including back-to-back 2-1 extra inning walk-off wins with the last one coming last weekend in Arlington.
North Texas vs. Wichita State
• The Mean Green and Shockers are meeting for the 15th time with Wichita state holding an 8-6 series advantage including one win this season.
• Wichita State won the previous matchup over the Mean Green in Arlington as apart of the Boerner Invitational, the Shockers won 13-2 (6).
