
Miller Set for Zone Championships

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Senior Meghan Miller is set to become just the sixth North Texas diver to compete in the NCAA Zone D Championships as she takes part in the one-meter competition on Thursday at the Lancaster Aquatic Center on the University of Kentucky campus. Her apperance will mark just the 12th time a North Texas diver has competed in the event.
Miller is one of 18 women competing for a spot in the NCAA Championships next week. The North Texas captain qualified for the Zone Championships with a personal best score of 280.72 in the win over Little Rock on February 6. Divers had to reach a benchmark of 265.00 for the 2020-21 season to qualify for the event.
Action will get underway on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with the prelims before the final competition begins at 12:45 p.m. Live results will be available through Dive Meets and fans can tune in to a stream provided by the University of Kentucky. Results will also be shared to social media @MeanGreenSwim on Twitter and Facebook.
