Men's Basketball Travels To Saint Mary's

MORAGA, California —The North Texas men's basketball team is on its first road trip of the season as they travel to Saint Mary's College on Sunday.
The game will be streamed on the West Coast Conference Network and the Mean Green Sports Network presented by Learfield. Tipoff for Sunday's game is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.
Sunday will be the third all-time meeting between the Mean Green (1-0) and Gaels (2-0) and first time at SMC.
UNT was one of the best teams in the country on the road last season. They were the last undefeated road team in the nation and began the year 9-0 in road contests. Sunday's game will test the Mean Green's road prowess as the Gaels have won 20 straight home games including a 67-57 home victory over then No. 1 Gonzaga. SMC was a perfect 16-0 at their home a year ago.
North Texas enters Sunday's game after a 53-47 season opening victory over Southern Nazarene at the Super Pit. UNT is coming off a program record-setting 25-win season where they captured its third straight Conference USA championship after a 16-win league season.
After the Mean Green return from Saint Mary's they'll host Fresno State at the Super Pit on Nov. 19.
