Tennis Adds Match Against TCU

FORT WORTH – Mean Green Tennis' trip to Memphis has been canceled due to risks imposed by the weather. A match against TCU in Fort Worth has been added for Monday beginning at 2:30 P.M. CT.
UNT (4-0) seeks to keep the winning streak alive following a strong weekend at home. Junior Kexuan Zhou won her last three singles and doubles matches with a near sweep against Lamar in singles play. Senior Lucie Devier remains undefeated this season after a dramatic tiebreaker last Sunday.
"We were disappointed not to be able to travel to Memphis but elated to be able to play TCU." Said head coach Sujay Lama. "This opportunity provides the challenge needed to see how we will respond and where our level is. It's instrumental also in getting us match ready for two conference matches next weekend."
The Horned Frogs are currently 5-1 this season with a win most recently against Houston at home. All five wins are home matches they swept, the longest streak in program history. They are led by Alisa Soloveva and Jade Otway who made quick work of both their singles and doubles matches last weekend.
