NORMAN, Okla. - UNT junior Vicente Marzilio wrapped up play in the NCAA Norman Regional on Wednesday, shooting a 1-under 71 to finish the event in a tie for 39th at even-par after his 73-72-71.Â
The Argentina native earned an at-large bid and entered the tournament as the fourth-seeded individual.
"Vicente had a lot of birdie opportunities today but unfortunately the putts were not falling," UNT head coach Brad Stracke said. "It was a pleasure working with Vicente at Regionals this week. He finished up his first three years with the best career stroke average on record at UNT."
