DENTON, Texas – Brad Stracke has left his position as head men's golf coach at UNT to pursue other opportunities, Vice President and Director of Athletics Jared Mosley announced Friday.
"I am grateful for Brad's commitment to our student-athletes during his time as head coach at UNT," Mosley said. "I am thankful for him leading our program and wish him all the best moving forward."
Stracke recently completed his 15th season leading the Mean Green men's golf program after taking over in December 2008. He won two conference Coach of the Year honors and most recently led the Mean Green to a fourth-place finish at the Conference USA championships in 2023.
"I enjoyed my time at UNT," Stracke said. "We set multiple records during my tenure, and I would like to thank my players, friends, and family for all the support along the way."
In his UNT career, Stracke mentored one All-American, one conference golfer of the year and four individual conference champions.
A national search for his replacement will begin immediately.
