Matthew Donello began at North Texas in July 2022. He serves as Associate Athletic Trainer for both Men's Basketball and Cheer.
Prior to UNT, Donello earned a bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training at Colorado Mesa University in 2015 and a master's of Education in Sports Administration from Midwestern State University.Â
Donello served as an athletic trainer at Liberty Hills High School from 2017 to 2020, before returning to Colorado Mesa where he also worked as an athletic trainer from 2020 to 2022.
Matthew has a dog named Junior, and his favorite moment was cutting down nets after Men's Basketball won the NIT Championship in 2023.
