Softball Faces No. 14 Ragin' Cajuns This Weekend

The Mean Green (10-25) won its first conference games last weekend, taking three out of four against Middle Tennessee. The Ragin’ Cajuns (34-7) have won their last 12 games and have never lost a Sun Belt Conference game. UL Lafayette is led by Brooke Mitchell, who has struck out 1,243 batters in her career.

Muller also broke out a slump with four hits against Middle Tennessee. She is currently riding a five-game hitting streak. Muller hit in the No. 6 position the last four games, resulting in four hits. She is batting .300 in conference-games only with six hits.
Senior Stephanie Cranmer currently has a five-game hitting streak also, tying a personal best.Cranmer led the offense this past week, batting .545 with six hits and two doubles. She is batting .400 in conference-games only and has moved her overall batting average up above .300 to .305.
