Softball Walk-On Tryouts Set For August 30

DENTON (8/18/05) - The North Texas softball team will be holding walk-on tryouts on Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 2 pm. The tryouts will be held at Denia Park.
All students wishing to participate in walk-on tryouts must bring a current physical, insurance card and other completed paperwork to tryouts on August 30. Paperwork can be picked up at the training room in the new athletic complex on Bonnie Brae. All information must be completed before students can tryout on August 30.
The Mean Green finished the 2005 season with a 15-38 overall record and a 6-14 conference mark. NT returns seven starters and 15 letterwinners for the upcoming season.
