Mean Green Softball Volunteers At Boo Bash

DENTON (11/1/06) - The Mean Green softball team volunteered at the 2006 Boo Bash at the University Union on the campus of North Texas on Thursday, October 26.
The student-athletes put together two booths at the carnival for kids, one face painting booth and the other a pumpkin toss booth. The team spent over two hours at the free carnival, visited by more than 600 people.
This event marked the second Halloween festival the North Texas team has volunteered at in the last four years. North Texas helped out with the Grapevine Halloween Street Party in the fall of 2004. The Boo Bash was the eighth community service project that the softball squad has participated in its four-year existence.
