Waters Hits Two Home Runs In 7-5 Loss

Wichita, Kan. (3/14/06) Junior Susan Waters hit two home runs for the second game in a row, but it was not enough as Wichita State came back to defeat the North Texas softball team, 7-5, on Tuesday afternoon at Wilkins Stadium. The Shockers took the nightcap, 8-0, in five innings.
The Mean Green (11-14) is now 0-10 all-time against the Shockers and 0-4 this season.

The junior now has nine home runs this season, tying her own single-season school record from her freshman year. She holds the career record with 23 home runs.
Sophomore Katya Muller hit the third home run of the game with a solo shot in the seventh inning. The one run was not enough to overcome the Shockers big six inning. Muller went 2-for-3 in the game with two RBI.
North Texas returns to action on Monday, March 20 when it hosts
