Mean Green Looks To Get Back On The Winning Track

Monroe, La. (3/28/06) - The North Texas softball team looks to get back on the winning track today when it faces Louisiana-Monroe on the road. The Mean Green has lost its last four games.
North Texas (11-15) looks to snap a four-game losing streak when it faces Louisiana-Monroe in a doubleheader beginning at 3 pm. The four losses is the longest losing streak this season for the Mean Green. NT lost to No. 15 Oklahoma, 7-0, last Wednesday. The Mean Green has also been hurt by inclement weather. Two games were canceled last week.
The Mean Green is 3-0 this season against the Indians, including a five-inning no-hitter at Denia Park. In three games, North Texas has a batting average of .348 against the Indians. Katya Muller went 7-for-10 against ULM for a .700 batting average. The pitching staff has posted an ERA of 0.74, including three wins by Kristina Fowler.
