The 16th Annual Don January Classic Is Sold Out

DENTON (3/31/06) - The 16th annual Don January Classic is "sold out" heading into the final weekend prior to the event. A record number of golfers will participate in the major spring fundraiser for athletic scholarships this coming Monday at the Trophy Club Country Club. Mr. January will conduct his clinic at 11am and the tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 12 noon.
The on-line auction will remain active until noon tomorrow. After that, bidding on auction items will be limited to those people participating in the tournament. The on-line auction has been a popular way for Mean Green supporters to be involved in the "Don January Classic" even if they are unable to golf in the tournament. The North Texas athletic department wishes to thank everyone who has made a bid to this point and wishes you good luck in obtaining the auction item of your choice!
