Troy Ends Mean Green's Softball Season

Miami, Fla. (5/12/06) Laine Harcourt pitched a five-inning shutout to lead Troy to a 9-0 win against the North Texas softball team, eliminating the Mean Green from the Sun Belt Conference Tournament and ending its 2006 season on Friday evening at University Park. North Texas came back to defeat

Junior Monica Garcia singled to start off the game at the lead-off position, but the Mean Green was unable to record another hit till the fourth inning. Muller and Fowler both singled in that inning but were left stranded on base.
