Fowler And Muller Named To All-Tournament Team

Fowler was instrumental as a pitcher and a designated player. She went 2-1 in the circle with both of her wins coming against the No. 3 seed
Muller finished the tournament and her season on a 13-game hitting streak, setting a school record. She posted three two-hit games and led the team with seven hits. The shortstop batted .538 in the tournament and finished her sophomore season hitting with a .332 average. The .332 average is a single-season best. Her 69 hits during the season is also a single-season record, surpassing Stephanie Cranmer’s 66 hits set in 2004.
The Mean Green finished its 2006 campaign with a 22-38 record, tying the school record for most wins in a season.
