Mean Green Student-Athletes Ringing The Red Kettle Bell

DENTON (12/5/07) - North Texas student-athletes are finding time this holiday season to volunteer with the Salvation Army. Last weekend, the softball and golf teams rang the red kettle bell at the Golden Triangle Mall to raise money for the Salvation Army.
Every Christmas holiday, Mean Green student-athletes take an active role in the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Drive. The athletes work in shifts at the Golden Triangle Mall and nearby stores to help raise money.
