Softball Outhits No. 6 Oklahoma In Loss

The Sooners remain unbeaten at 19-0, while the Mean Green (3-11) has lost eight straight.
OU scored two runs in the first off two hits and then added two unearned runs in the fourth.
Monica Garcia knocked in the team’s only run in the seventh inning with a single. With one out, she singled and knocked home Rebecca Waters who walked to get on base. The Mean Green left two runners stranded after Sarah Jones and Taylor Johnston both singled.
Jones and Johnston had multi-hit games with two hits apiece. Kristina Fowler and Katya Muller also recorded hits in the game.
Ashley Lail took the loss in the circle for the Mean Green. She gave up two earned runs off four hits.
