Mean Green Softball Hosts Conference Leader Troy

DENTON (4/13/07) - The North Texas softball team plays a three-game series against conference leader Troy this weekend. The first game is set for Saturday, April 14 at 1 pm at Lovelace Stadium.
The Trojans (33-11,11-4) are first in the league rankings, while North Texas is fifth with a 8-7 conference record. NT is 2-2 in the series with the Trojans. Last year, North Texas took two of three against the Trojans and then was eliminated from the Sun Belt Conference Tournament after losing 9-0 to the Trojans.
The dedication for Lovelace Stadium has been postponed due to the inclement weather.
