Mean Green Softball Plays In University Classic This Weekend

DENTON, Texas (10/2/08) The North Texas softball team rounds out its fall season with the third annual University Classic this weekend at the Ballfields at Craig Ranch in McKinney.
The Mean Green is one of twenty teams participating in the University Classic. North Texas will play five games over the course of the weekend, two games on Saturday and three on Sunday.
NT won all three of its games last weekend at the North Texas Fall Festival and also secured a victory in its annual alumni game.
North Texas is returning 11 letterwinners from last year and has added 11 newcomers to the 2008-09 team.
