Mean Green Softball To Hold Softball Tryouts On August 26

DENTON (8/5/08) - The North Texas softball program will hold walk-on tryouts for the 2008-09 season on Tuesday, August 26 at 3:30 pm at Lovelace Stadium. Only current University of North Texas students can try out.

Interested current North Texas students should report to the student services building first at 2:30 pm to fill out the appropriate paperwork and then report to Lovelace Stadium by 3:30 pm for the tryout. The on-field tryout will begin at 3:30 pm.

All participants must have a completed student-athlete physical form and proof of valid insurance prior to tryouts. All participants must also bring a photocopy of a valid insurance card (front and back) and all necessary medical insurance information (provider, policy #, persons, covered, etc).

All participants must bring all necessary equipment to tryouts. No equipment, other then softballs, will be provided.Please check this website regularly for any updates or additional information regarding walk-on tryouts.

Interested North Texas students must submit this form in order to attend the try-out. The attached medical information sheet and the paperwork must be returned to the training room before Monday (August 25^th) or interested students will not be allowed to participate.
