Day Two of Conference Tournament Starts At 10 am

DENTON, Texas (5/7/09) - The North Texas softball team opens up day two of the 2009 Sun Belt Conference Championship today with a game against No. 1 seed Louisiana-Lafayette at 10 a.m.
The Mean Green faces the Ragin' Cajuns after both teams lost their opening games.NT lost to FIU, 8-0, while ULL lost to ULM, 1-0. The last time North Texas defeated ULL was during the 2007 conference championship. The Mean Green needs to win in order to stay alive in the tournament.
The conference championship continues with three more games on Thursday. The top three seeds all lost in their opening games on Wednesday.
