Softball Plays In Courtyard Classic

DENTON, Texas (3/4/11) - The North Texas softball team hosts its second tournament of the season, the 2011 Courtyard Classic, this weekend. The Mean Green plays UTEP at 3 p.m., and Louisiana Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
The Mean Green is hosting a six-team tournament. The Courtyard Classic includes Ole Miss, Louisiana Tech, UTEP, UTA and Wichita State. North Texas is a combined 6-15 against its four opponents. The Mean Green is facing Ole Miss for the first time.
Action gets started at 10 a.m. on Friday and continues through Sunday. The tournament will be played at Lovelace Stadium and Krum High School.
