Softball Hosts Play For Kay Game On Wednesday

DENTON, Texas (5/1/12) - The North Texas softball team hosts Stephen F. Austin in its annual Play For Kay Charity Game at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Lovelace Stadium. All proceeds raised from t-shirt sales and cash donations will benefit DFW's Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of the Mean Green's most loyal supporter and long-time friend and co-worker, Kay Johnson.
This year the North Texas softball team is partnering with Delta Sigma Phi, and the DFW Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to spread awareness to the local community. There will be live music, a raffle, a silent auction and Miss Texas will be making an appearance.
Auction items include North Texas gear, football tickets, gift cards to local restaurants and movie tickets.
