Softball Travels To Alabama This Weekend

DENTON, Texas (4/11/13) - The North Texas softball team travels to Mobile, Ala. this weekend to face No. 23 South Alabama in a three-game conference series. The Mean Green plays a doubleheader against the Jaguars on Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m.
The Mean Green (18-17, 6-7) is coming off a conference series loss to Louisiana-Lafayette and looks to gain some ground in the Sun Belt. The Jaguars stand atop the conference with an 11-3 mark.
This is the first time that North Texas is facing a ranked USA team. North Texas has lost the last two series against USA but has never been swept by the Jaguars. The series is split at 7-7.
