VIDEO: Kirk, Poole Discuss Veteran Leadership In The Circle

DENTON, Texas - The Mean Green (19-8, 5-1 C-USA), which is anchored by senior ace Ashley Kirk, heads west to Lubbock, Texas, for a doubleheader with the Red Raiders on Wednesday, March 19, beginning at 6 p.m.
Since her arrival, head coach Tracey Kee has zoned in on her pitching staff and has had a hands-on approach in their development. Seniors Kirk and Lauren Poole, a southpaw out of Oklahoma City, lead the veteran staff in the team's first season in Conference USA, a league full of top-notch pitching.
