Winter Weather, DFW Traffic Conditions Set Back Softball

North Texas Softball Schedule
CONROE, Texas - Heavy traffic in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as a result of winter weather conditions, has forced North Texas to alter its weekend schedule at the Scrap Yard Exhibiton further. The Mean Green will no longer play on Friday afternoon like originally scheduled, and instead will face Oklahoma State in a double header on Saturday and Oklahoma in a double header on Sunday.
North Texas was slated to play OSU tonight at 6:15pm, however travel delays extended a four hour trip into nearly an eight hour endeavor, encouraging a schedule change. The Mean Green will now play the Cowgirls at 10:30 a.m. CT and again at 12:45 p.m. CT on Saturday, Feb. 28. As a result, North Texas will now play No. 4 OU in a double header on Sunday, Mar. 1. Game one is set to start at 10:00 am CT with game two to follow at 12:15 p.m. CT.
In addition, Wednesday's matchup with Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas has been moved up one hour from 3 p.m. CT to 2 p.m. CT on Mar. 4.
