DENTON – After falling short of the Conference USA tournament in 2016, the North Texas softball team rebounded in 2017, posting 25 wins with one of the toughest schedules in the nation.
Additionally, after being picked to finish 12th in C-USA's preseason poll, North Texas logged 11 conference wins to qualify for the conference championship as the No. 7 seed. It was the third time in four years North Texas qualified for the tournament under head coach Tracey Kee.
