Mean Green Set to Host Horned Frogs

DENTON – North Texas will return to dual action on Saturday when TCU travels up I-35 from Fort Worth, action will get underway at 11 a.m. inside the Pohl Recreation Center and Physical Education Building.

Swim events will take place in the Pohl while the divers will compete in the P.E.B.

The Mean Green are looking to continue a string of success against the Horned Frogs. North Texas has a 5-3 all-time dual record against TCU, including winning the last five meetings with two of them coming during the 2018-2019 season.

During last season's two duals, North Texas outscored TCU a combined 306.5-282.5. The first meeting which came on December 8, 2018 in Fort Worth went to the Mean Green by a score of 149.5-142.5. The second, which came on January 26 in San Antonio was won by the Mean Green by a score of 157-140. North Texas's last loss to the Horned Frogs came back in 2015 when the Mean Green fell 168-130 in Fort Worth.

The largest margin of victory for either team came during the last meeting in Denton, with the Mean Green taking the 202-89 victory on Senior Day in 2018.
