Softball Announces Summer Camp Dates

DENTON – North Texas softball has announced additional summer camp dates. This is a chance to work with Conference USA Coach of the Year Rodney DeLong and with Mean Green student-athletes.
The first session offered is a three-day overnight camp experience for athletes in 7th to 12th grade. The overnight camp will run from June 23-25 offering a look into the program, and will cover all aspects of the game with current coaches and student-athletes. There are options for both overnight stay and commuter athletes.
Three camp sessions will be offered in July, beginning with the pitchers and catchers skills camp on July 23 for students in grades 7-12. This session will run from 9 a.m. to noon offering a first-hand look at the culture of work in the bullpen between pitchers and catchers. On July 29 DeLong and staff will host a defensive skills camp from 9 a.m. to noon for infielders and outfielders in grades 7-12.
The final camp date available is on July 30. The offensive skills camp is open for athletes grades 7-12 from 9 a.m. to noon. All July sessions are $80 and open to the first 30 players to register. All summer camps are open to any and all participants, limited only by age, gender and number of registrants. You may register online at RodneyDelongSoftballCamps.com.
