DENTON —The Mean Green tennis team hits the road for its second match of the dual match season on Wednesday when they face TCU in Fort Worth at 2 p.m. CT.
Wednesday's match can be streamed here and live results can be followed here.
"Another great challenge for us and a great opportunity to apply the lessons we have learned from our last match," said head coach Sujay Lama. "I am super impressed with the professionalism of our ladies and their ability to focus on the now and improve each day."
Wednesday will be UNT's (0-1) first match in 10 days. However, the Horned Frogs (2-0) are a familiar opponent.
This will be the 24th all-time meeting between the two schools. UNT beat TCU in Fort Worth in 2014, 4-3.
Furthermore, North Texas earlier this month competed in the TCU Invite as a warm up for the spring season. At the TCU Invite the Mean Green had a strong showing posting nine singles wins over a variety of Big 12 and SEC opponents over the three-day tournament, including newcomer Lucie Devier defeating TCU's Isabel Montalvo in the first day.
Along with senior Nidhi Surapaneni, Devier, a junior, has been a shinning bright spot for the Mean Green. The 2019 NJCAA All-American burst onto the scene at the TCU Invite and had a competitive showing at No. 3 Texas on Jan. 17.
